DO YOU COMPLETELY TRUST IN GOD’S WORD?

April 2

Here we see in Psalms 56:10-11 that David knows because of his trust in God that he did not need to fear the opposition of mere man.  He has already stated that once in this Psalm in verses 3-4.  Here there is a close connection in being able to praise the Lord because of knowing His word. If we spend the time in the word so that we can get to know the God of the Bible, then we will have great confidence in the times of trouble.  Have we read the Old Testament and Hebrews 11 with the great Hall of Faith where over and over again ordinary people became great heroes of the faith by trusting in the God who can be trusted to do what He said He will do?  If we get to know Him, then we will know we can trust Him.  Open the word today and get to know God and His love for you in a greater way.

In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word. In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. (Psalms 56:10-11)
