Aquilla and Priscilla took him aside and taught the way of God more accurately to Apollos after they heard him in the synagogue. Now that he had a better understanding, Apollos proceeded west, where he ministered at Corinth and “Achaia” by watering the gospel seed that Paul had planted. God’s word is not just to learn and keep to ourselves, let us follow this model of Apollos and share with others the things that God has shown us so they can benefit too. This will not only help them, but also strengthen these truths more in our hearts as we share it with others. The best way to learn is to know it well enough to tell others. 1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

Acts 18:28 For he powerfully refuted the Jews in public, demonstrating by the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ.
