WHAT KIND OF LOVE DO WE HAVE?

Here we see the heart of Paul for even those who hated him for his leaving Judaism and preaching a Gospel based on grace not law.  He is praying something that he knows could not be granted,  but would still do if possible. He prayed that he could go to hell so that his countrymen could be saved and go to heaven.  Do we have any kind of compassion on the lost that would even come close to this?  Today, especially on social media we spew venom at those who do not believe like we do and especially those who still live in all kinds of sin.  Yes, these people may hate us and may not be like us but God sent His son to die on the cross for us while we were yet enemies and sinners (Romans 5:8,10).  Let us have the same kind of love for our brothers and sisters who may not believe exactly like we do but do believe the essentials necessary for salvation and are saved.  Those who don’t know Christ need our love today more than ever since hell is forever.  Have we really grasped the implications of forever in hell?
