WORSHIP AND PRAISE

September 27

The Psalmist deals with where and how we should worship in the first 5 verses, so it is fitting that he now specifies who. Everyone should praise the Lord for who He is, and all that He has done and continues to do for all of us. Even the unbeliever is blessed by the Lord as it says that He makes the sun to rise on the evil and good and causes the rain to fall on the just and the unjust (Matthew 5:45). It is so sad that we don’t honor and praise the God like we ought to. Matthew 22:37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ Solomon concludes the book of Ecclesiastes with the chief end of man is to praise Him and worship Him forever. Let us make sure we give God all that He deserves with our worship and praise.

Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
