WALKING IN TRUTH

December 8

John is so thankful that Gaius is living for the Lord in everything he does. This ought to be something that gives us great joy and we are thankful for is when we hear that our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ are living a life that is pleasing to the Lord. We ought to ask ourselves are we living a life pleasing to the Lord and are we thankful when we hear of others faithful walk or is it something that gives us pangs of jealousy or envy because we were not the ones being commended? Brethren, let us pray for each other that we all would walk in a manner worthy of the calling of the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4:1). This ought to be our prayers for others and ourselves every morning before we start our day. We also ought to be encouraging others to pray this and to walk worthy.

3 John 1:3-4 For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
