BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS

December 8

Here we see under this altar which is an altar of sacrifice symbolizing these faithful saints had sacrificed their lives for the one who died for their sins. They died in the Tribulation for being faithful to the word of God and not compromising the standards in it which were laid out by God. We may never be called on to die for our faith, but every day there are places and times where we are being tempted to give up or back down just a little from what the Bible says we should do. More and more wickedness is being shoved down our throats. We need to do what Joshua 1:9 says Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Do you believe this? Then stand strong and watch God win.

Revelation 6:9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.
