ARE YOU ASHAMED OF HIM?

January 27

Paul knew that the Gospel was sufficient to change lives and empower the Romans and all who trust in it to live Godly and overcome the challenges of this world. This Gospel was one that was now revealed to all and comes from the one and only mighty God who is all knowing and deserves all of our praise and worship.

In Romans 1:16 Paul says For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes. In 1Corinthians 15:3-4 it says the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that He died for our sins, He was buried and rose again the third day.  It is the power to change lives, to forgive sins, and make us a new creation, so why aren’t we telling people about the Good News of the Gospel? Mark 8:38 says If we are ashamed of Him, He will be ashamed of us.

Romans 16:25-27 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past, but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations, leading to obedience of faith; to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be the glory forever. Amen.
