DO WE WANT TO BE USED?

December 28

Jesus, a Rabbi, a Jewish man, not only talks to a woman, which Rabbi’s did not do in that day, but He talks to a woman who is an outcast, despised woman, who is a half-breed pagan and worse than that, she is a well-known adulteress who probably has been an adulteress for a long, long time, therefore she has been divorced many times.  Jesus uses this woman who tells everyone that this is Jesus who told her everything she ever did to start a revival which led to many Samaritans being saved.  When we step out and do what Jesus tells us to do, it opens the door for many other things to happen.  As happened here, we could be the one who begins a great time of revival that starts with one person and leads to many others reading, examining the word, and trusting in Christ because of all that is written about Him.  Are we prepared to be used?

Many more believed because of His word. (John 4:41)
