DO YOU HAVE A DESIRE FOR GOD’S WORD?

November 17

Here the Psalmist is speaking of his great devotion to God’s Word and wants God to give Him understanding of His word and to keep him from failing to keep God’s word. He speaks of how much he loves the word and delights to spend time in it. Do we have the same love for God’s word and desire to keep it? Do we delight in reading His word or is it something we come to with a feeling of I have to or need to? Use this as a prayer and ask God to do this in your life.

Psalm 119:33-34 Give me understanding, that I may observe Your law And keep it with all my heart. Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it.
