Proverbs 24:15-16 The writer speaks to his son as though he were addressing a wicked man to make a point that the wicked is only concerned with his own self interests. The righteous man (believer in Christ) will fall but rise again because He trusts in God and because God defends the righteous. Righteousness and truth win in the end. Peter and many other saints fell many times, but got up to continue in the faith since their trust was in Christ. The wicked loses in the end, it may not look like it now, and it may not happen until they die. Read Psalm 73, the writer almost gave up on God because he was looking at the wicked. Hebrews 12:2 says to keep our eyes fixed on the author and finisher of our faith. Keep the faith, trust God at all times, God will triumph in our lives and so will we.
Proverbs 24:15-16 Do not lie in wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; Do not plunder his resting place; 16 For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity.
