HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD!

May 11

The Psalmist Asaph was discouraged and so he began to reflect on how great God is.  He concentrated on all the good things God had done for His people in the past.  This is how we grow in our faith, we remember the past and know that God will be good to us and help us in the future. Asaph remembers all the great deeds and miracles God did even in spite of their unworthiness to receive what He had done. Let us when we are discouraged and feel defeated remember that even though we are not worthy of one of God’s smallest of kindnesses He will always be the God who loves us and cares for us.  Amen!

I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings. Your way, O God, is holy; What god is great like our God? (Psalms 77:12-13)
