I WILL GUIDE THEM

December 8

God has been silent about sin for a long time, but will in the future bring judgement on sinners, and He will lead His own people, those unable to find their way through the blinding storm of His judgment, to safety (cf. Rev. 12:14). The people of Israel were blind as are we at times and could not bring the Gentiles (sinners) into the light, but God would lead His blind servants (cf. v. 7). He promised He would do this. Israel’s past and our future deliverance from sinners will prove to them how great He is. Look to God, He will take care of us.

“I will lead the blind by a way they do not know, In paths they do not know I will guide them. I will make darkness into light before them And rugged places into plains. These are the things I will do, And I will not leave them undone.” (Isaiah 42:16)
