OPPOSING THE WICKED

December 8

Evil men praise each other, but we who know the Lord oppose the wicked. Evil men do not understand justice and for them wrong is often right. Those of us who know the Lord see things correctly because God has opened our eyes to truth. Ultimately it is better to be poor and be a person that has Godly morals than to be rich and lose everything one day because of wickedness. Money is not evil, but the love of it is, as with the love of many things that cause us to forsake and never trust Christ. So many want to justify what they do and make it look like it is normal as they are doing more and more today. Are we standing up for the important things? God wants us to be faithful to Him and defend those who cannot defend themselves. James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

Proverbs 28:4-6 Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, But such as keep the law contend with them. 5 Evil men do not understand justice, But those who seek the LORD understand all. 6 Better is the poor who walks in his integrity Than one perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
