READING GOD’S WORD

January 26

Paul concluded his message in Acts 20 with a blessing. Since he was no longer going to be able to build up these men, he committed them to God, the one who would do it, and to the scriptures which are God’s way of growth. God’s word is the source of all spiritual growth that would lead them to the ultimate “inheritance”(salvation) they would one day enjoy because they were believers. Are you growing because you spend time in His word?

Acts 20:32 And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
