THESE WORDS ARE FAITHFUL AND TRUE

December 31

This whole chapter of Revelation 22 tells us three things. First, this prophecy is genuine. Second, Jesus will return very soon. Third, unbelievers should beware, and the faithful should take courage. In verse 6 the angel speaks to John and says all of this will happen soon and it was the Lord God who had revealed all of these things. Jesus promises to come soon and would have us live in constant expectancy of His coming. The book ends with the special blessing that was given in chapter 1:3. This blessing is for those who pay close attention to what it teaches and does them. It is a shame that so many take this book and say it is not understandable, or make it all symbolic, or say it has already happened even though it contains more promises of blessing than any other book in the Bible. Everyone should continue to read it, study it, and learn from it. Be blessed today by reading this book.

Revelation 22:6-7 Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place. 7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
