WHO OR WHAT IS YOUR GOD

December 28

Who or what is your God?  A god is anything we sacrifice to or for.  We can sacrifice all our time, money, and energy for a job, a hobby, family, or any number of things. These can be good things if put in the proper priority. We need to make sure that God is the only one who has first place in our life. When we have nothing that subtracts from what He wants us to do, life will be as it should be.  Yes, life is still tough, difficult, and holds many dangers and traps, but it will bring the joy, peace, and abundant life in spite of those things if our goal is to show that He and only He is worthy of worship and glory. What is it that is hindering your relationship with God?  If you are worshipping (that is giving all your time, money, or energy) to things that will not bring glory to God you are wasting your life.  Let’s covenant today not to do that. Amen!

“You shall have no other gods before Me.” (Exodus 20:3)
