James was the half-brother of Jesus, he was known as James the Just. He wrote this book to the Jews and is a practical book that addresses many hard issues. James says that faith is not inactive, but evidenced by a life of action, in other words faith changes the way a person lives. This book is about integrity in our life and how to achieve it. In this first section he shows us that God is using trials in our life to shape us and mold us. As one man said trials either make you better or bitter, it is our choice of how we react to trials. Do we want to be the person God wants us to be or do we just get mad when trials happen?
We ought to be loving each other and put away our doctrinal differences if they are not unbendable teachings on salvation issues. These are below.
