DO YOU WONDER WHETHER GOD IS TRULY WITH YOU?

January 28

I know many today wonder whether God is truly with them and try all kinds of means and methods to get what they want or get out of problems.  It seems like people want don’t want to trust God for anything but as a last resort.  God did everything necessary to save you and will be with you.  It is also a great reminder to those of us who are or have been in the path of the storm that all of these things are just things and what is important is knowing the Lord and putting our trust in Him. David was so sure of God that he spoke in Psalm 20 verse 8 as if it had already happened.  The name of the Lord refers to God’s character, reputation, and nature.

David gained confidence as he reflected on his God. Who do you trust?  God can be trusted.

1Jo 2:17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. (NKJV)

2Sa 22:47 “The LORD lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let God be exalted, The Rock of my salvation!

Ps 18:2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Psalm 20:7-8 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the LORD our God. 8 They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright.
