ETERNITY

September 15

Paul is speaking to the Christians and using a term that was popular in that day for humans and human bodies (flesh and blood) that in our current bodies we cannot enter heaven. Our perishable bodies cannot go to heaven. This is the reason for death for Christians and it tells us in the next verses that we will be changed into a glorious being that will live eternally with God. We will be victorious over death because of Jesus’ death on the cross and our trust in Him. Do you know for sure that will happen to you? If not trust Christ today and be sure of where and how you will live in eternity. He died that we may live.

1 Corinthians 15:50 Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
