GETTING WISDOM

October 21

Based on everything he has said, Solomon encourages his sons to live by his words so they can gain wisdom. Wisdom leads to life, but the lack of wisdom leads to death. The goal of life is to gain wisdom. As it has been said before that true wisdom is the application of knowledge and this only comes from God as we apply our lives to the reading of His word and live out its principles every day. What is your goal in life? Wisdom leads to true joy, and life worth living in spite of trouble.

Proverbs 8:32-35 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whosoever finds me finds life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD.
