GROWING?

September 26

It is no new thing for evil to be masked as Light in the darkness, Sometimes the one who promises the most to help you is your worst enemy and will destroy you if he can.  We need to be more vigilant than ever to be on the lookout for those who are trying to deceive us.  They are everywhere.  Don’t fail to look in the pulpit either, many today have walked off from the fundamentals of the faith and are wavering on all the issues that the world says is okay.  Know what you believe and why you believe it and then you will not be caught off guard when the devil tries to present a counterfeit gospel or truth to you.  It is unfortunate but it has been said by many upstanding preachers that 90-95% of Christians have remained as baby Christians and that is not what God wants for us.  Go read 1 John 2:12-14.  God expects us to grow and become like Him.  Determine to start today and be all that God wants you to be for Him and those around you who will benefit from it.  Amen!

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
