LOVING GOD’S WORD

August 9

The Psalmist says if he ever gets the opportunity He will speak of how great God’s word is and will not hesitate to because he is not ashamed of it. He also speaks of how much he loves God’s word. “Does it give you joy to read the Word of God?

Do you love the Bible? If you don’t love God’s Word, ask Him to give you a love for it. I did that for years. I prayed, “Lord, give me a love for your Word.’ I was not brought up in a home where I heard the Word of God, and it took me a long time to become interested in it.” McGee

Psalm 119:46-48 I will also speak of Your testimonies before kings And shall not be ashamed. I shall delight in Your commandments, Which I love. And I shall lift up my hands to Your commandments, Which I love; And I will meditate on Your statutes.
