PLEASE, TAKE THE TIME

August 26

All of scripture has been written so that we might learn from those in the Old Testament and New Testament who went before us and know that God was working out His purposes in whatever they went through.  He wants us to learn the scripture and apply it to our life and through all the things we learn from it we can be motivated to endure knowing all the encouragement the scripture gives us.  We especially see this in Hebrews 11 where God give His approval to the lives of all who persevered faithfully under every kind of trial and abuse imaginable. Unfortunately, many today do not feel this comfort and hope because they don’t spend the time each day to learn all the things that God has put in the Bible to help us as we live life.  Please, take the time at night before you go to bed or early in the morning before your day starts to read and study your Bible so that you are prepared for whatever the day may send your way.

Romans 15:4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
