THE GOODNESS OF GOD

January 27

God’s people should thank Him because He is good and His loyal love endures forever).”If you are a Christian, tell others how good God is. He is good, but He doesn’t have a good name in the world today. God’s reputation is bad—a reputation is what people think about you. God does not have many friends among the multitudes of people in the world—no champion, or defender, and few to testify on His behalf.” Those whom God has redeemed should be especially grateful for His rescuing work for them and should publicly testify to His salvation. Have you considered all He is and how good He has been to you and me if we know Christ as Savior?

Psalms 107:1-7 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. 2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy, 3 And gathered out of the lands, From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south. 4 They wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way; They found no city to dwell in. 5 Hungry and thirsty, Their soul fainted in them. 6 Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses. 7 And He led them forth by the right way, That they might go to a city for a dwelling place.
