TRUSTING IN THE LORD

March 9

God’s people should not stop trusting in the Lord because the wicked prosper temporarily, nor should we despair when they seem to prevail against us. Rather, we should continue to trust in the Lord, take refuge in Him, and rely on His faithfulness to His promises. Reviewing His past faithfulness will enable us to do this. Psalm 37 is a helpful Psalm to read whenever we feel discouraged by the apparent prosperity of the wicked. Constable

Psalm 37:39-40 But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble.  40 And the LORD shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him.
