TRUSTING IN THE RIGHT PERSON

August 2

This verse is the middle verse in the Bible. It is fitting that God should have the Psalmist to write down here that it is better to go to God for help, refuge and protection than any man or prince as it states in the next verse which means no matter how great or lowly the man, God is the one we should trust in. Who do you turn to when the times are tough or people are treating you wrongly? Turn to Him who can always be trusted and is always there to help those who belong to Him.

Psalms 118:8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
