WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?

September 29

Paul cannot believe that the Galatians are falling for the lies which others are telling them and claiming is the Gospel. Paul goes so far as to say even if he or an angel tells them a different Gospel they should go to hell and repeats it a second time for emphasis. There is only one Gospel 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. Is this what you are trusting in by faith and that alone to get you to heaven? If you have added good works, baptism, communion, confirmation, church membership or anything else to believing what is written above you have believed a false gospel and are headed to hell. If you have been led to believe a lie, repent of your sins and trust in Christ alone today so that you may truly be saved.

Galatians 1:6-9 I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!
