HAVE YOU PRAISED HIM TODAY?

August 3

Psalms 118:22 speaks of our Lord Jesus Christ as the cornerstone on which all our faith is based who was rejected and killed by the builders (Israel’s leaders).  This was what was intended by God to happen so that Jesus could be killed and resurrected as it refers to in verse 24.  The resurrection is something that should be marvelous in our eyes since only God could have done this and secured our salvation through this plan.  We should also be glad and rejoice in this marvelous salvation that has been bought for us.  The Psalmist prays for the salvation and prosperity of his people as should we for those around us.  Anyone who comes to worship God is one that is blessed and we bless Him by our praise and worship of Him.  Let us marvel and praise Him today for His marvelous works.  Amen!

Psalms 118:22-26 The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. 23 This was the LORD’S doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. 24 This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. 25 Save now, I pray, O LORD; O LORD, I pray, send now prosperity. 26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! We have blessed you from the house of the LORD.
